Vanessa Halle is a Partner at the Nico Halle & Co. Law Firm and heads up the Intellectual Property department. Vanessa was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2011 by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, the Cameroon Bar in 2013, and is an accredited IP Attorney at the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI). She has extensive experience managing IP portfolios, advising and representing clients in strategic areas such as brand development and implementation, protection/registration/prosecution, maintenance / annuities, due diligence, pre-litigation, and litigation processes. She also specialises in transactional IP matters such as franchising, licensing and transfers. Her IP experience covers patents, trademarks, utility models domain names, copyrights, designs, plant variety, geographical indication and other related rights, where she provides tactical guidance on launching new businesses, products, and services, business transactions and partnerships.
