Service Description
The term of the protection conferred by a certificate of registration of an industrial design shall expire at the end of the fifth year, with effect from the filing date of the application for registration.
Late renewal fee (within 6 months from renewal date):

What is the validity of an Industrial Design?
An industrial Design is valid for 5 years from the filing date.
How can an Industrial Design be maintained?
The registration of a design may be renewed for a further two consecutive periods of five years(15 years total duration) on request by the owner and on payment of a renewal fee whose amount shall be fixed by regulation.
