Sena is a skilled legal practitioner with expertise in Intellectual Property law (mainly, trade marks and copyright), drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across various industries and providing a business approach to legal practice. He also writes weekly IP articles on his social media and he has previously been invited to speak about IP on national television and radio. Sena is currently employed at a UK law firm that provides contracting support to large companies. After completing his LLB at the University of the Witwatersrand, Sena joined a leading Intellectual Property firm in Cape Town where he did his articles where he handled searches, filing and prosecution of local and foreign trade marks as well as various litigation issues. He then joined a boutique commercial law firm in Stellenbosch with a focus on Intellectual Property, Commercial and Technology law. Sena also currently provides IP consulting services to SMEs through the consulting company "Uncle Sena IP".
